Educational Opportunities

Bringing the excitement of performance art to students enrolled in the Estes Park School District and beyond is central to the Fine Arts Guild of the Rockies fulfilling its promise to celebrate the arts at all levels of life. Adults also have the opportunity to further their performance skills during periodic workshops conducted each year.

Each year, The Fine Arts Guild introduces middle school students (grades 7, 8 and 9) to the works of William Shakespeare when representatives of Boulder’s renowned Colorado Shakespeare Festival provide a youth-oriented rendition of a well-known Shakespeare play.

Annually Estes Park High School graduating seniors interested in furthering their education in the arts compete for a Fine Arts Guild-provided college scholarship.

When the Guild seeks audience or volunteer participation in productions, the organization offers workshops in the genre. Past workshops have included experiences in storytelling, improvisational theater and directing.

The most-watched-for opportunity for youngsters is the Youth Theater tuitional-based camps, held each year soon after the school year ends.
